Accessing the Marchenghast Castle!

Here's a little guide on how to take part in the adventures released today!

Today’s the day! After many years of seeing the mystical castle in the mountains above Goldenhills Valley, our players will finally get to explore it - and the surrounding forest - for the very first time. We wanted to make sure everyone knows how to get to this point!

How to Unlock the Area!

The instructions are quite simple - to start the quests today, all the player needs to have done is unlock the gate to Goldenhills Valley. And how do you get there, you might wonder? Also simple! Here’s what’s needed:

-Reach level 12

Pretty straightforward; by playing through quests in the game, the character receives player XP and progresses through to player level 12.

-Follow the main quests until reaching “Why is the gate locked?”

In this questline, the player will speak to Councilman Gilbert in the Silverglade Village, and he will ask the player to investigate why the gate to Goldenhills Valley - the South Iron Gate - is locked.

-Continue with this questline

In this questline, the player will have to look for the key, realize that a new copy will be made, and will do so with the help of Conrad Maarsden. Together, the player and Conrad will forge a new key to the South Iron Gate, and unlock it.

Et voila! The player now has full access to the Goldenhills Valley, and can begin doing quests inside. One of those quests will be with Luciana, up on Old King’s Road, close by the castle entrance. To begin the journey to the castle gates, the player will speak to her.
