Updated Mac System Requirements

In order to optimize your Star Stable Online experience, we're updating our Mac System support!

Changes to macOS support

Following crashes affecting some of our macOS users, our technical team has been investigating and found that these crashes are directly tied to the use of macOS Ventura. As we introduce new features and technology into Star Stable, the game increasingly relies on systems that are only available in newer operating systems. Because Apple officially ended its support for macOS Ventura last year, our developers are unfortunately unable to patch this specific issue.

As a result of these technical limitations, we have had to update our minimum requirements, meaning macOS Ventura will no longer be able to run the game.

Our updated macOS requirements are:

  • Minimum Operating System: macOS 14.8 (Sonoma)

  • Recommended Operating System: macOS 27 (Golden Gate)
