Magical Dragon Horses!

Hey StarFam! This week, two magical horses join us in Jorvik and the Riding Hall revamp is unveiled.

Once upon a time...

A down-on-her-luck apprentice stablehand left the safety of home and stable to seek her fortune. Through trials and tribulations, she made her way to the very heart of Jorvik, beyond the fabled Ashlands, into the crater of Garnok’s Fury.

The young hero returned with two impossibly large gems. Thinking her fortune made, she headed home to present her treasures to the queen, but before her audience, the gems split open, revealing a pair of scaly dragons. In the blink of an eye, the dragons transformed into majestic horses! Called in to present her gift to the queen, the girl had nothing to give but a fantastic tale and two seemingly ordinary horses.

Meet the magical horses Faramawr and Aldrach!

★Faramawr the Green embodies prosperity and life thriving after disaster, like the fertile soil and new islands formed in the wake of volcanic eruption. They also represent the precious minerals and jewels born of fire.This is a proud beast who requires hard work and patience. But if you rise to the challenge and persist you will be rewarded with a trusted and devoted friend.

★Aldrach the Red is the embodiment of nature's destructive but necessary forces, such as volcanic eruptions. To see the crimson scales of Aldrach is a warning of oncoming disaster, but you will grow stronger if you can pass through the fire. They are passionate, as difficult to control as a volcano, but the rider who perseveres will be richly rewarded with a life long companion and a new inner strength.

Faramawr and Aldrach can be found with Gary Goldtooth at his usual camp in Moorland, close to Old Jasper’s Barn.

When in their normal form, they disguise themselves as Friesians...

...and when in their magical coats, their scales appear! #OnceUponADragon

These fierce horses will join your family for 950 Star Coins each. But wait, there’s more! Faramawr or Aldrach have a special move — the canter pirouette! Click the spacebar while your horse is standing still to witness this graceful spin. Keep in mind you won’t be able to change their mane style.

Wyvern Pets

According to Jorvik legend, the great dragons of old were accompanied by smaller wyverns who would alert the dragon to prey and threats. Happandi are often seen with green Faramawr Dragon Horses. Kolandi are often seen with red Aldrach Dragon Horses.

Happandi and Kolandi can fly! They would love to discover Jorvik by your side, so for an adoption fee of 400 SC each, they’ll join you as a flying pet!

To make these pets fly next to you, place it in a saddlebag attached to your horse’s saddle and press “P”!

Faramawr and Aldrach, along with their pets, are available for three weeks. They will leave Jorvik during the Wednesday update on September 1st.

Riding Hall Revamp

It's time for the big reveal! The Riding Hall has been under some behind-the-scenes construction, and the remodel is finally complete! Along with a fresh and modern look, we have a ton of improvements for you to enjoy:

★ Preplaced props—choose between different prop setups by clicking on the prop board.
★ Dressing room—so you don’t have to trek all the way to your stable.
★ Cafe—treat your horse to something yummy after a long practice.
★ Dancing in the bleachers—show your support in style.
★ More camera angles to ensure your routine is perfect.
★ Stylist—switch out the mane style of your horse for shows.
★ Change the music to suit your mood by visiting the record player in the cafe.
★ The lined floor and lettered sections are still there to help you with your placement and routines!

Run...don’t walk...over to the Riding Hall to check all this out and more! The sky's the limit with these updates. Gather your club members, friends, or practice solo! There are endless possibilities.
