The Western Festival!
The Western Festival is back in town! All the cowboys and cowgirls of Jorvik are welcome to enjoy the Western themed festivities. New for this year is that a fairground has opened up in Moorland! Our favorite Bobcats cowgirl Beatriz is hanging out there, ready to welcome all visitors. The fairground has fun festivities such as a Fairground Race, and the iconic High Striker!
Over at Starshine Ranch, all Star Riders are welcomed by Carl Peterson! Here it’s all about experiencing the authentic ranch life, and the chores that come with it. We’re also bringing a new form of the Gold Rush experience, hosted by none other than Gary Goldtooth of course!
The Western Festival and its two festival hubs will leave with the Wednesday update on August 19th.
The American Quarter Horse!
Dust kicked up in the air, a lone tumbleweed rolling by, and a lonesome rancher moving cattle upon horseback. But not upon just any horse, it's an American Quarter Horse! Rugged, agile, and with stamina for working long days at the ranch, this breed is any cowgirl's right-hand man. But its athleticism and temperament also make it a versatile horse, fit for many purposes.
It’s no coincidence that the American Quarter Horse is commonly seen in Western films. Their cool, stoic energy keeps them chill in front of the cameras or in the ring, as long as they get their action shots and sprints. The riders at Starshine Ranch know it all too well; it's not only the local saloon's chili that’s spicy when the American Quarter Horse is impatient, showing off its spins and strutting its stuff in a jog.
This absolute unit has now landed at Starshine Ranch, and comes in eight different colors! It’s available for 950 Star Coins from player level 5. One coat is also available from player level 1 in the Moorland courtyard.
Trail of the Headliner!
Our new Trailblazer Track has arrived, including the Cowgirl Couture outfit in blue and white!
To progress through the trail, points are needed! As we mentioned in a blog post earlier this year, we have made some changes again to how the points can be collected. We have removed the point cap, so all activities (activities meaning races, quests, horse care, etc.) will give at least 10 Trail Points, with the first four still giving 120, just like last time. We have also brought back points for gatherables such as plants, recyclables, and fireflies! When points are gathered, milestones are unlocked and rewards can be claimed. There are 25 milestones in this trail.
We’ve also updated the FAQ tab in the Trailblazer Track window to reflect the changes we’ve made!
The Trail of the Headliner runs until the Wednesday update on August 19th. Any clothing or tack rewards not collected during the Trailblazer will be available in-game in February 2027.
Champion Ranks!
It’s time for another season of Champion Ranks, and this time it's Fairground Fun! The Champion Ranks season will run from July 22nd, 09:30 server time, to August 18th, 23:59 server time. Good luck on the racetrack, everyone!
New Stable Customizations!
To keep the yeehaw vibes going, we’ve added new options for the Rustic theme! There are 2 new wood colors, and we’ve added some existing metal colors so that all the base metals can be found in the Rustic theme. We’ve also added new wooden stall flooring!
The stable customizations can be accessed through the catalogue in the window of the vanity room in the Home Stable!
Happy Horse Week!
To ensure all horses are feeling their best during the festivities, we’re hosting Happy Horse Week! All horses are now as happy as can be, and 7 days of stable care have been added. Already had stable care going on? Don’t worry, it will stack onto existing days!
