Happy New Year!

Hey StarFam! It’s time for the final Wednesday Update of 2020! This time of year we give a fond farewell to the past year and share our hopes and wishes for the new one.

We are eagerly prepping for New Year’s festivities over in the Winter Village.

The New Year’s Party

Some of our favorite Jorvegians have made their way to the Winter Village to celebrate and you are invited to join! DJ KAI will be playing your favorite songs to get you in a dancing mood.

Chat with different characters when you need a break from dancing. They will be reminiscing on their past year’s experiences. The New Year’s Party will be available for two weeks so you have plenty of time to mingle!

Fireworks!

The party provides the perfect location to see the New Year’s fireworks! You can even light your own. Purchase fireworks from vendors around the Winter Village and you’ll be able to fire them off at locations nearby. Try different types of fireworks to see which one you like the best! As an improvement from last year, you can set off multiple fireworks in rapid succession. This can be enjoyed with other players so gather your friends to create a fireworks show!

The New Year’s countdown can be found at a frozen lake near the New Year’s party. Join the countdown to midnight if you can so we can ring in the new year together!

The dress shop

If you're in need of an outfit for the party, the New Year’s dress store is open for business! Here you’ll find dresses from previous celebrations as well as a brand new dress and suit inspired by the 1920s. You can find the shop in the Winter Village.

Remember to grab all of your gifts before winter’s end. Your final gift of the year is something extra special! Here's a hint...someone had so much fun with you this winter they decided to become a permanent addition to your collection!
