The American Quarter Horse!

This iconic horse got its name because it can run a quarter of a mile faster than almost any horse in the world - how cool is that? The American Quarter Horse, shortened to Quarter Horse or AQH, is today mostly known as a very well-rounded horse suitable for farm work or riding within any of the Western disciplines. Now, four of these beauties just arrived in Jorvik, and they can’t wait to meet you!

The Generation 3 American Quarter Horse!

★ Where can I get it?
You’ll find one horse in Fort Pinta and three at Starshine Ranch!

★ How much does it cost?
950 Star Coins.

★ What level do I have to be?
To get the horses at Starshine Ranch, you must have reached level 5. The horse located in Fort Pinta is available from level 1 on!

★ Do I need to crunch reputation?
Nope!

★ What colors can I choose from?
A strawberry roan, a splashed white on black, a bay, and a palomino!

★ Is there anything else I should know?
YES! Buckle up, here we go! The Quarter Horse sports two unique mane styles - one with the beautiful thin mane let loose, and one with fancy braids, perfect for a show!

Want a horse with special moves? We’ve got a horse with special moves! Do a slide stop by pressing “X” when your Quarter Horse is galloping, and do a spin by pressing “Spacebar” while your Quarter Horse is standing still - and don’t miss out on the awesome backing-up animation!

Bye Tinkers, Hello Irish Cobs!

The Tinker horse is known by many names and with helpful feedback from you, our players, we are more aware that 'Tinker' is not a friendly term in many countries. To ensure WE’RE friendly, we’ve decided to rename our Tinker horses to Irish Cob. It’s the exact same horse, but with a new name! #MyKindaCob
