All about Firgrove!

Hi StarFam! Late last year we told you guys that we’re still working on area remakes - and this time, we’ve given some extra care to a smaller part of Firgrove!

Into the woods we go!

Firgrove is a special and much-loved part of Jorvik, but it’s also quite quiet. Minka, who is in charge of the Cross Country races, has for a long time asked the Silverglade council to get rid of the machines that are in the way of her race (“It feels like they’ve been there for eight years without doing any good”, she claimed), and when they finally came to good use before leaving, they surely brought some amazing changes.

Roads have been added, trees have been moved, Minka received some brand new fancy obstacles in her slightly re-drawn races, and even some Jorvik Rangers moved to the area to keep the forests safe! The grounds of Firgrove have never looked this good!

It is said that the machines Minka complained about might be back once more though because it appears they are not quite done with remaking Firgrove, yet...

If you want to try out Minka’s races anew and see all the changes with your very own eyes, you need to be dressed for the occasion! Therefore, three brand new cross country outfits are now available to you, safety vests included! You’ll find this cool and practical set in three colors, and you can get it at the Jorvik City Mall or the Global Store.

Group racing!

Have you ever tried any of our three group races, ‘First to Destination’, ‘Flag Race’ or ‘Balloon Race’? These can be played at any time as long as you’re a group of two to five players, and can be found in some locations around Silverglade. They’ve just received a well-deserved update with some epic music from our favorite DJ Kai!

Did you know that on average, you and your friends complete 4.5 million races PER WEEK?! Pretty mind blowing, right? We thought, why not do a challenge now that we have an awesome updated soundtrack - can we all together reach 4.7 million races by next week? Join your friends and get racing, both in daily races and in high score ones - there’s a reward in store for everyone if we hit the target!

When you’re racing away you’ll notice something new - we’ve updated the checkpoints you pass through when racing! We’ve done this to make them more visible and also better looking than before. What do you think?
