It’s time to celebrate Jorvik’s Fortuna Festival, with rainbows, parades, and the odd cranky leprechaun!
Chase the rainbow with Chaun!
Have you heard there’s a big bucket of gold to be found at the end of the rainbow? Well, it’s true! Chaun the greedy leprechaun loves collecting rainbow gold, and he travels with the rainbow wherever it goes. Only problem is, each time the rainbow crashes into a new location, the gold pieces scatter on the ground!
Even though he’s a cranky fella, if you help Chaun collect the gold, he’ll give you a nice reward. Those of you who have helped Chaun in previous years will recognize some of the items, while other items are brand new this year!
The rainbow will appear every now and then in different locations across Jorvik. These locations include Goldenhills Valley, the Dews’ Farm in Epona, the Forgotten Fields, Valedale Lake, the Everwind Fields, the Golden Fields and Firgrove.
Meet Chaun, the grumpy leprechaun!
Important rainbow info to keep in mind:
★ You might not see the rainbow right away when you log in, so you'll have to wait until the next time the rainbow pops up!
★ The rainbow is only active during daytime.
★ In each gold collecting mini game, you can collect a maximum of 10 pieces of rainbow gold.
★ Remember to free up some space for the gold pieces in your backpack!
The Fortuna Festival lasts for two whole weeks, so you’ve got plenty of time to chase the rainbow!
Fortuna Parade
Every year ahead of the Fortuna Festival, the Bobcat girls prepare a big parade between Moorland and Fort Pinta. Some of the Bobcats work a little harder than others, and they could all use your help with the preparations… Talk to Loretta to get started!
Once you’re done helping out around the Moorland Stables, you’ll be able to take part in the Fortuna Parade every hour, on the hour.
To be able to play these quests, you need to have completed the quest where Loretta thanks you for helping her with Tan’s surprise party.

Have you been working up a sweat trying to take a nice picture of yourself and your horse in Jorvik, moving back and forth between the game and another program? Well, those days are over, thanks to our latest hotkey!
Here’s how to take a picture on a PC:
★ Take a picture by pressing the F2 key.
★ Go to the Pictures folder on your computer.
★ In the Pictures folder, you’ll find a new folder called Star Stable Online Screenshots.
★ Ta-daa!
Here’s how to take a picture on a Mac:
★ Take your picture by clicking fn+F2. On some new Macs, the F keys will show up in your touch bar when you hit the fn key!
★ Go to the Pictures folder. Trouble finding it? Open the Finder menu, and select Preferences. Click on Sidebar, and check the Pictures checkbox. You’ll now see the Pictures folder in the sidebar when you open Finder!
★ In the Pictures folder, you’ll find a new folder called Star Stable Screenshots.
★ Ta-daa!
Horse Market
It’s not easy running a horse market when you’ve got rainbows hitting the ground all over the place! Eddie and Ferdinand are trying to calm their horses down at the moment, but they promise to open up for business again next week by the Jorvik Stables.
