STAR STABLE’S TECH ISSUES: UPDATES, INFO & ADVICE

Hey everyone! What a week, huh? With our 5th birthday celebrations in full swing, the game decided to give us all a bunch of issues that we’ve been working non-stop to fix, but a small number of players are still having trouble.

The servers are open as normal for most but not all players. Some players continue to have issues with login, lag, or graphics. Some people may find the game a bit unstable over the next few days as we continue our work to set everything straight again, but the vast majority of players can log in and play without any problems.

Here’s an update with a little advice on what you can do to help improve your in-game experience; we hope you find this info useful!

Update your graphics card drivers
This is very important. New tech in the background of the game has changed the way Star Stable handles graphics. Make sure your computer’s graphics card has the latest update to its drivers to give yourself the best possible chance of getting the game to work properly.

If you’re unsure of how to do this, there are heaps of easy step-by-step guides online that will tell you exactly how to get it done!

If your game is lagging…
You need to try changing a couple of the graphics settings in the game. Switch off the two functions called ‘Vertical Sync’ and ‘Post Effects’ by following these steps:

1. Click on the cellphone in the lower right corner of your screen;
2. Click 'Options’;
3. Click 'Graphics';
4. Make sure that 'Vertical Sync' and ’Post Effects' are NOT checked.

If you’re a Mac user, you’ll only see an option for ‘Post Effects’. Make sure it’s not checked.
