Hey, StarFam! Jorvik has gotten chilly again. With the colder weather comes a new face to train your horse in jumping exercises!

Silverglade Gymnastics Jumping

Adrenaline junkie, Tai, has loved jumping ever since he came to Jorvik for riding camp. Naturally, he insisted on creating a course with challenging jumps to get you ready for any jumping race! Tai’s race includes two permanent gymnastics jumping courses. For both the newbie and seasoned professional, the first track will get you warmed up. The second track is designed with help from an expert jumper, Tai’s pet frog, Croakisaur!

Meet Tai in Silverglade at the paddock next to Steve’s Farm. You must have completed the quest where you deliver grain to Steve.

Paddock Props

The riding arena next to Steve's Farm has the Paddock Prop System! As always, you can choose from three different sets of props. There’s dressage fences, a western trail set, and show jumping. Click on the noticeboard to choose between options.

Let it snow!

In a surprise weather event, snow is once again falling on Jorvik! Our weather forecast predicts it will stay all throughout the month of February. If you prefer Jorvik’s warmer months, you have the power to control the weather! On the top right of your screen is a convenient button that allows you to turn the snow on and off. Next winter, you can also count on having snow for longer as we hope to have it during all the winter months.

Story snack!

The Life Warden sapling still needs tending to. You, Lisa, and Linda must care for this little sapling together. A bit of magical gardening is needed to help it to start growing! Head to the Forgotten Fields to get started.

You must be a Star Rider and have finished all the main story quests to take part.

Imperial Splendor Set

Get ready to join competitions in style! The Imperial Splendor Set is fit only for the most prominent riders on Jorvik. This set was once given out by redeem code, and is now permanently in the Global Store and in Dundull!

You must have unlocked Dundull and reached player level 9 to get these items.

Magical Horse Rotation: Erinys and Petra

Something else has returned to Jorvik — magical horses! Erinys and Petra, along with their bunny pets, can be found at Gary’s camp in Moorland for the next month. These magical runestone horses can join your stable for 750 Star Coins each.

★ Petra’s hoofsteps can make the ground tremble. But as Petra is a gentle soul, they don’t want to see the world destroyed by their thundering hooves. That’s why you can often find Petra standing still as a statue among nature, allowing vines and flowers to grow on their back. This relaxed attitude makes Petra an easy-going riding partner, happy to meander trails and stop to munch on moss.

★ Sometimes, dark forces can corrupt the sacred runes, crumbling these monuments. It is from these shattered sigils that Erinys was born. Erinys’ fierce and tireless nature makes them a dedicated riding companion, always eager to push their limits and become stronger and faster. Born in shadow, Erinys hopes one day to be welcomed back into the earth from which it sprung. Perhaps by bonding with this tragic steed, you can help it come a few steps closer to redemption.

Runestone pets

The Happy-go-lucky Bunny leapt from a runestone with Petra—the ultimate good luck charm! The Bunny of Darkness erupted from a corrupted runestone with Erinys, wishing to see the world go up in flames. Choose the light or dark side, by adopting one of these cute companions for a fee of 400 SC each!

To make the bunnies hop next to you, place one in a saddlebag attached to your horse’s saddle and press “P”! (If you are playing on mobile, open the Horse Sheet and press the button with paw and arrow).

Erinys, Petra, and their pets will be in Jorvik until the Wednesday update on March 1st.

Horse Retirement

The next horses to leave us for greener pastures are the Generation 1.5 Oldenburg and Selle Francais. During the Wednesday update on March 1st, they will leave Jorvik and not be available for purchase from then on. Find them at Ferdinand's Horse Market before they receive their well-earned retirement!

While we love each and every one of our old horses, we sometimes need to make changes to ensure the game can run at the best possible performance. One of these changes will be to slowly phase out our very oldest horses.

If you already have purchased any of these horses, no need to worry! The horses will stay unchanged in your safe ownership. Please note that they will not be further supported with bug fixes, updates, or new tack.
