Where’s the fire Galloper?

Last week, a ghost from Galloper Thomspson’s past was unveiled. Suddenly, Galloper is in an awful hurry to get away from the Keep. Join Linda, chase him down, and uncover secrets along the way. Who is Broderick and what is he hiding?

Complete this chapter of Galloper’s storyline and you will be rewarded! If you missed last year’s frightening tale, Linda can provide a recap of what we know about Galloper Thompson so far.

There is much to be revealed! Meet Kasper the ghost to begin.

Ghost Hunting

Some restless ghosts have escaped from Galloper’s Keep! The veil between worlds is only thin during Halloween, so they must be returned to the Keep before the portals close, lest they be trapped in Jorvik for good and unable to return to their spirit world.

The ghost, the Registrar, will assist in your ghost hunt. Find the Registrar outside of the old prison tower on Tower Isle. They will assign you one ghost per day. Return them to the Keep where they belong!

Some of the ghosts will be available for Star Riders only, though free players may still see the quest.

Soul Shards

This is your last Halloween to use Soul Shards. Be sure to spend them before the Wednesday update on November 9th!

Halloween Art

To set the mood for your quests, our Galloper Thompson Halloween art is available as a desktop background. Just don’t get a fright when you turn on your computer!

Magical Horse Rotation

We’re having our last magical horse rotation of the year! Birkir and Hanami are visiting along with their spider pets.

★The Birkir is the horse of birch trees. Encountering a Birkir is a sign of a new beginning after overcoming hardship. They are most common in springtime and regularly aid lost travelers. The Birkir takes after the lithe Marwari, as straight and slender as the trunks of birch trees. Make one part of your family for 950 Star Coins.

★The Hanami belong to cherry trees and are a symbol of rebirth and herald of spring. Like blossoms, they are a reminder to treasure the beauty of today for it may be wilted and gone tomorrow, but will return again. To the untrained eye, the Hanami appear as a regular Percheron working horse, but to those who are magically inclined, their flowing flowery manes and bark-like coat are a sight to behold. Make one part of your family for 850 Star Coins.

★Bitey and Cherry, the spider pets, cost 350 Star Coins each. You can find them all with Gary Goldtooth at his usual camp in Moorland, close to Old Jasper’s Barn. They will be available until the Wednesday update on December 7th.
