Winter Has Arrived!
The winter magic has arrived, with endless possibilities (and a sprinkle of chaos)!
The Winter Village!
The beautiful sparkle of snow is here, covering Jorvik in a white blanket. Of course, that also means that the Winter Village is here, with all its festive activities! To visit the village, just hitch a ride with any of the sleighs scattered around the populated areas of Jorvik. Once visitors have touched down in the village, they will be given a brief tour of activities by our resident Caprans! They’re not alone this year though - there seems to be some gnome-chaos going on…
Just like previous years, the Yule tree will share 31 gifts, but this time we are starting on December 10th! Every day until January 9th, the tree will have a new gift waiting for all visitors, and they can be claimed until the Winter Festival leaves on January 14th.

The Sun and Moon on Jorvik!
Far away and long ago, the sun and the moon chased across the skies, playing an everlasting game of tag with their companions Sköll and Hati. Weaving between stars, soaring across planets, they cast day and night upon Earth.
"You'll never catch me!" the sun called out to her brother.
"Just you wait!" the moon challenged.
For eons, all was well. Until one day, when the celestial bodies suddenly collided! A piece of them each broke loose and landed in Aideen's hands. Carefully, she molded them into graceful Andalusians. The sun was made into the glimmering Sól, and the moon the starry Máni. Then, she let them loose onto Jorvik.
Now, they carry a piece of the celestial sphere with them as they chase across Jorvik. Weaving between trees, soaring across rivers, Sól and Máni are unstoppable.
This year, they pay a visit to the Winter Village, eager to follow any visitors on their adventures. They are available for 950 Star Coins for anyone that has reached player level 1!
Joining the horses are also matching pets - Sköll and Hati, available for 350 Star Coins each - and matching outfits for horse and rider! Both horses, pets, and outfits will leave with the Winter Village on January 14th, but will return again next year.
Trail of the Northern Lights!
The Trail of the Northern Lights has arrived! It is filled with an outfit of black and blue in various hues, with fluffy details to help keep horse and rider warm and comfy in the chilly winter nights.
To progress through the trail, points are needed, and they are earned by simply playing the game. Quests, races, collectibles… many sorts of activities will give points! More information can be found in the Trailblazer window in-game. As the points add up, sweet rewards are unlocked - there are a wonderful 35 of them, to be exact! Everyone gathers points for this track, but only Star Riders are able to collect the rewards.
The Trail of the Northern Lights runs until the Wednesday update on January 14th. Any clothing items not collected during the Trailblazer will be available in-game in July!
Champion Ranks!
It’s time for another season of Champion Ranks! Our dedicated racers can now earn victory points by competing in the championships, and collect ribbons as they progress through the ranking. The season is active from December 10th, 09:30 server time, to January 13th, 23:59 server time. We’re wishing everyone a safe and exciting racing season this winter!
New Hairstyles!
A new hairstyle has hit the Fort Pinta Hair Salon! Nine different colors of a layered haircut with microbangs are now available, and they are permanent additions to the game.
Brinicle on Jorvik!
The Brinicle has retired from the Winter Festival and is now permanently living in the frosty climate of Dino Valley, next to the Icengate, and will come home with players for 299 Star Coins.
Happy Horse Week!
To make sure everyone can run through the sparkling snow at high speeds for maximum fun, it’s time for Happy Horse Week! All horses are now as happy as they can be, and 7 days of stable care have been added to everyone. Already had stable care going on? No worries, it will stack onto existing days!
