The Equestrian Festival
Hey Starfam! The Equestrian Festival is here, can you feel the competitive spirit in the spring air?
The Equestrian Festival is a celebration of Jorvegian equestrian culture! Horse enthusiasts from all over Jorvik gather at the festival grounds to sell their wares, recruit for clubs and show off unique riding styles and interests. Be ready to embark in some fierce competition to compete in daily races with other players! The festival will be here for four, fun-filled weeks. It will end during the Wednesday update on April 24th. But don’t worry, it will return next year!
Dressage!
After its debut at last year's Equestrian Festival, dressage is now a permanent addition to Jorvik Stables! You are not judged by how fast you can clear the competition, it's all about precision and memorization! Follow the right pattern in the correct gait to perfect your skills.
Jorvik Dressage varies a little from traditional dressage, but it’s just as fun--and challenging! We’ve made a few updates since last year, including a new intro quest and new routine, so there's plenty to keep you engaged and improving.
Dressage is only available for Star Riders.
Moorland Festival Grounds
The main festival grounds are in Moorland. Look for Linda outside your Home Stable, then talk to Tan at the Festival Grounds outside Moorland Stables to get involved! From the festival grounds you will find quick transport to Championships. Just approach Julie next to the Championship board. Be sure to grab the daily quests to earn additional XP and Spring Tokens

The Jorvik Stables Open House
The Jorvik Stables Open House is back and better than ever! As part of the Equestrian Festival, this Open House will be exclusive to Star Riders to visit as soon as you have unlocked the road from Wolf Hall through Greendale Forest. Use the fast transport between the festival grounds in Moorland and Jorvik Stables so you don’t waste a second of the festivities. Introduce yourself to Lily and Luciana for a tour of the festival grounds. And…Sabine is back with her mischievous quest from the previous Equestrian Festivals! Are you up for her challenge to stir up chaos?
The Baroness
At Jorvik Stables, the Butler has made an appearance. He’s preparing for the Baroness’ arrival to Jorvik Stables later during the festival. The Baroness is keen on finding who is the most talented rider and competitor of the festival. In order to impress the Baroness, you’ll need to take part in the festival competitions and championships to prove yourselves remarkable. When the Baroness arrives, you will be getting a chance to redeem a Prestigious Ribbon and curious cat.
Horse Retirement
The next horses to leave us for greener pastures are the Generation 1 Andalusians. During the Wednesday update on May 22nd, they will leave Jorvik and not be available for purchase from then on. Find them at Ferdinand's Horse Market before they receive their well-earned retirement! You will be able to purchase the Gen 1 Andalusians for 300 Star Coins.
While we love each and every one of our old horses, we sometimes need to make changes to ensure the game can run at the best possible performance. One of these changes will be to slowly phase out our very oldest horses.
If you already have purchased these horses, no need to worry! The horses will stay unchanged in your safe ownership. Please note that they will not be further supported with bug fixes, updates, or new tack.
